About Me

How goes it! I am Jaden Young, born in Ohio and raised in Indiana. While in high school I attended the Whitewater Career Center for three years. One of these attended years I spent taking a graphic design class which completely changed my career interests. Getting introduced to graphic design allowed me an eye-opening experience in creating art in various forms of media as a career. From a young age, I was always fascinated with how technology functioned and with art and craft. My fascination with creating was not necessarily art-focused but also in crafts, more recently my interests in technology have since narrowed down to how graphic visuals, special effects, and animations are created, in movies and video games. I enjoy watching behind-the-scenes for horror movies specifically, as I think horror movies always create a well-designed atmosphere. Being able to watch the director and actors no longer as a viewer but instead as a learner changes everything about the movie for me. Seeing a scary scene be broken down into cues and camera angles gives me a new appreciation for how the movie was created, giving the scene a rawer feel to it as opposed to the edited version used in the movie. I think a lot can be shown/produced within the world of entertainment to amp entertainment, teaching, and creating to a new level!
